The manufacturer offers the 2018 Ram 3500 in seven trim levels: the Tradesman, SLT, Big Horn, Laramie, Laramie Longhorn, Lone Star, and Limited. Perfect for contractors or landscapers, the Tradesman starts off with 17-inch steel wheels and automatic halogen quad headlamps, while the SLT offers 18-inch steel wheels, power heated side mirrors, and chrome bumpers. Note that the Lone Star is only available in Texas.

With available fifth-wheel towing and the Cummins turbo-diesel, the Ram 3500 gets a Best-in-Class 30,000 pounds of towing. Other engines get from 9,910 pounds to 11,890 pounds depending on the configuration. When you want to use the bed for transportation, it allows a payload capacity that ranges from 1,466 pounds to 3,060 pounds, depending on the trim.
When you open the door, step up the chrome assist stairs, and hop inside, you’ll be amazed at everything the Ram 3500 brings to the table. The most apparent upgrade is the 8.4-inch touch-screen display that allows you to navigate the Uconnect infotainment system, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.
